VOLUNTEER BULLETIN

Volunteer Day Projects for 9th grade and 10th-12th grades are posted in the gym lobby. A sign-up link will be emailed to all students on Wed. March 25 during Homeroom. Students will use the link to sign up for a Volunteer Day project. Sign up for ONE project only. If you sign up for more than 1 project, you will be assigned to a project. The sign-up link will be available Wednesday, March 25 – Tuesday, March 31. If you do not use the link to sign up for a project within the allotted timeframe of the link being available (March 25 - 31), you will be assigned a project.

Activity Schedule on Wednesday, March 25. 9th -12th grade students will be in the gym with speaker Dean Sykes. 7th & 8th grade will be in the Springer Center to hear from Saunders Ramsey.

Faculty Meeting on Wednesday, March 25 at 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

Shooting Sports: Parent meeting for those who have children going into 7th - 12th grade. Wednesday, March 25th at 5:00pm in the cafeteria. Please reach out to Brian Merkel with any questions (bmerkel@starkvilleacademy.org).

Early Dismissal: Friday, March 27 students will be dismissed at 11:30. A Class Schedule will be sent to teachers. 

Some items from Volunteer Store will be set up at SA for Grandparents’ Day: Friday, March 27. Come shop from 10a.m.-3p.m.

Miss Volition - Friday, March 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Springer Center - doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Miss Volition tickets are on sale in the high school office for $10 each. You may purchase tickets in the high school office until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27th, and tickets can also be purchased at the door at Miss Volition. 

10th - 12th graders: Volunteers are needed to work in the Junior High Baseball Concession stand on March 30th. See your email to use the Sign-Up Genius to volunteer.

Juniors and Seniors: Service Hours Opportunity—Report to the Starkville Police Department on April 4 at 8:30 a.m. Check in with Lieutenant Josh Wilson and assist from 8:30am-12:30-pm.

Archery: Wednesday, March 25 North State Archery (Jr. High, 7th-8th) @ the MSU Horse Park at 8:45 a.m. Dismiss by 8:30 a.m.

Baseball: Thursday, March 26 @ Heritage. Varsity only, DH at 4 p.m.

‍‍Lady Vols Soccer: Thursday, March 26 vs. Heritage. V/JV @ 5 p.m.

‍Tennis: Thursday, March 26 vs. Heritage @ 3:30 p.m.

‍Track: Thursday, March 26 – 7th/8th @ St. Andrews.
