Juniors and Seniors: Check your email regularly for service hour opportunities. 

Science National Honor Society Members: Please bring your first aid kits for our SNHS first aid drive to Ms. Lee's room between April 13th through April 23rd. 

Anchor Club announcements: Voting for next year’s officers will take place in Mrs. Cain’s room Tuesday (4/14) and Wednesday (4/15) during homeroom. All senior Anchors must fill out a service hour sheet and turn it in to Mrs. Adkins’ box in the office or bring it to the last meeting.

Volunteer Buddies: Wednesday, April 15 at 9:45 a.m.

Upcoming Sports Parent meetings:

• JH and HS Football (Rising 7-12 grades) – Thursday, April 16th 6 pm in the cafeteria

• Volleyball (Rising 7-12 grades) – Wednesday, April 22nd 5 pm in the cafeteria

• Peewee Football (rising 5 and 6 grade boys) – Wednesday, April 29th 5 pm in the cafeteria.

ALL seniors will meet with Mrs. Bennett on Tuesday, April 28 during homeroom in the cafeteria about end of year technology turn in.

To leave campus on Volunteer Day (Friday, April 24), a student must have a signed waiver. Turn in or email your signed waiver to the teacher assigned to your grade:

·        10th grade: Purvis (jpurvis@starkvilleacademy.org)

·        11th grade: Gwaltney (cgwaltney@starkvilleacademy.org)

·        12th grade Cain (ecain@starkvilleacademy.org)

·        Please turn in signed waiver by Wednesday, April 22. If we do not receive a signed waiver, you will volunteer with a group that is staying on campus for Volunteer Day.

·        ​Blank waivers are in the Media Center and the High School office.

Students wanting to take the June 13 ACT need to register at ACT.org by May 8 to avoid a late fee.  Register by June 5 to take the July 11 ACT.

This Week in Athletics:

Baseball:Tuesday, April 14 vs. Indianola. Varsity only @ 6 p.m.

Senior Night: Tuesday, April 14 @ 5 p.m. for baseball, Diamond Girls, golf and track.

Golf: Tuesday, April 14 @ North State at 10 a.m. at Starkville Country Club.

Lady Vols Soccer: Thursday, April 16 @ Heritage, V/JV at 5 p.m.

Tennis: Thursday, April 16 & Friday, April 17 @ North State Regional Tournament in Meridian.

Track: Wednesday, April 15 – Varsity District Field Events @ Canton at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 18 – Varsity District Running Events @ Canton at 8 a.m.
