Starkville Academy is an independent, college-preparatory school educating students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12. Starkville Academy was established for the purpose of providing Starkville and the surrounding communities with the opportunity to enroll their children in an independent school offering academic achievement, spiritual development, extracurricular programs, and character development in a small environment.
Starkville Academy admits students from all ethnic, cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds that support and enhance the mission of Starkville Academy.
Starkville Academy is accredited by the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools (MAIS), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS).
Starkville Academy was established to provide an excellent educational foundation for the students it serves. SA is dedicated to finding and employing the best faculty and staff available, while also providing a curriculum which will both stimulate and challenge our students. SA seeks to provide and encourage a positive and safe learning environment so that each student can strive to realize his/her full potential academically. SA’s academic and extracurricular course offerings involve educating the whole person while preparing students for post secondary educational requirements.
