Secondary Faculty Meeting on Wednesday, April 24, at 3:30 in the cafeteria.

Spring Band and Choir Concert on Thursday, April 25: Elementary at 6pm and High School at 7 pm.

Seniors who are interested in participating in the EMCC choral program next fall should see Mrs. Carol Pittman.

DVDs of the morning and evening performances of Beauty and the Beast are available for purchase.  $10 each.  Pick up a form in the office or from Mrs.Trinkle.  Return orders and money to Mrs.Trinkle.

Track Uniforms ,for all not going to North State, are due to Coach Wright this week.

Register for June 8th ACT by May 3rd to avoid a late fee.

Athletic physicals at OCH are scheduled for Saturday, April 27, at 9:30.  They will be given at the OCH Healthplex. This if for pee wee, junior high and high school athletes.

Junior & Seniors-SSgt Michael Ferguson with the US Marine Corps Recruiting Station out of Columbus will be at SA on Monday morning, April 29 for any interested students to meet with him.  There will be a sign up sheet in Mrs. Hubbard's office so see her to sign up.

Seniors have until May 1 to turn in service hours to Mrs. Hubbard.  Forms are available in her office.

The SA Talent Showcase will be Monday, May 13 at 6:00 pm in the gym to celebrate the performing talents of our students. This is not a judged competition. Students, who are interested in participating, should get an entry form from their school office or from Ms. Carol Pittman.    The following is a list of talent ideas for individual or group performance: singing; dancing; playing an instrument; magic; comedy routine; dramatic monologue; juggling; mime; gymnastics; reciting poetry; tricks with basketballs, hula hoops, yoyos, or jump ropes.

 Looking for an opportunity for community service hours?  Volunteer Starkville will host the 7th Annual Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10am – 2pm at the McKee Park.  We need volunteers to help with event set-up, registration, way finding, concessions, manning a few vehicles on display, and event satisfaction surveys to make this event a success.  Lunch will be provided courtesy of Vowell’s Marketplace.  To sign up, visit the Volunteer Registration Page at http://unitedwaytouchatruck.com/volunteer. 

Seniors- Seniors that reside in Oktibbeha County that have a 90 or better average that are majoring in a child related field are now able to apply for the Starkville Junior Auxiliary Scholarship. Applications are outside Mrs. Hubbard's door in the red folder and are due to be received by Junior Auxiliary by April 26th.  Copy of transcript and 2 letters of recommendation are required.
