Elementary Principal

Krista Vowell has been a part of the SA Faculty since 2010, when she was hired as elementary music teacher. Since then, she has taught high school English, Speech, US History, and AP US History, and has served as the Junior Class Sponsor and director of the school plays. Ms. Vowell holds a bachelor’s degree from MSU in Communication, and a master’s degree from MSU in Political Science. She is finishing her administration certification this summer through Delta State University. Krista is the mother of two children: Peyton, a US Marine, and Meghan, a junior at Mississippi State University.

Secondary Principal

Carol Berryhill has served the past 26 years in public school education.  She received both a B.S. Degree and a M.A. Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University.  She worked for 3 years in the Grenada School District as a 4th grade teacher.  She has worked at East Webster High School the past 23 years as a teacher/ assistant principal.  Carol taught 7th – 8th grade social studies for 21 years at East Webster before obtaining her certification in Educational Leadership.  She has served as Assistant Principal for the past 5 years at East Webster. Carol is married to Lee Berryhill, and they have a fourteen year old daughter Melony.
