Choral Music

The Starkville Academy Elementary Choir is an ensemble open to students in grades 3-6.  The Elementary Choir gives these students an opportunity to develop a love for music by performing and singing with their peers at an early age. These young students showcase their talents at the annual Veterans Day Program and at the Christmas and Spring Choir Concerts. The SA Elementary Choir meets once a week under the direction of Ms. Carol Pittman.
The Starkville Academy Choir is an ensemble comprised of 7th-12th-grade students, who have elected to take Choir as one of their yearly courses. Not only does participating in the SA Choir satisfy the Fine Arts credit required for graduation, but it allows students an opportunity to develop their vocal, team-building, and leadership skills through participation and performance. Students also receive instruction in music theory and music history. Ms. Carol Pittman is the director.
