Admissions

Starkville Academy is a nondiscriminatory college preparatory school for grades PreK-12 that advocates a holistic approach to education in a Christian environment. Established in 1969, the school is accredited by the the Mississippi Private School Association, the Southern Association of Independent Schools, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The student body includes children of different races with different religious and ethnic backgrounds.

Admissions: Applications will be accepted in grades PreK-12 upon receipts of an application form, a paid registration fee and successful completion of a standardized assessment test.
A student’s admission depends upon vacancies and determination of acceptance according to admission policies by the school’s administration and Board of Directors.

Foreign Exchange Student Information
Starkville Academy is adjudicated through the Naturalization and Immigration Service to accept Non-Immigrant Foreign Exchange students. Contact Jessica Hubbard at 662-323-7814, extension 160 for information.

$200 per family for families who sign contract and pay fee between 1/26/09 and 2/6/09

The Tuition fees above reflect a $300 increase.  There is no increase in the book and building fees.  This is an increase of only $30 per month over a 10 month period.  In addition to this, payments may be made over over 12 months (June 2009 to May 2010) for an increase of only $25 per month.  These monthly payments (either 10 or 12 payments) can be set up on bank draft on the 5th of the month or paid by check, cash or money order.  All monthly payments must be in the office by the 15th of each month. Two other payment options are payment of the entire yearly fee by August 15th or two equal semiannual payments due on August 15th and January 15th

NOTE:  Tuition/fees may be paid in full at any time during the year. If payments are not received in the office by the 15th day of the month, a late fee of $30 will be added to the amount due as specified in your contract. There is a $15 fee for returned checks.

Family discounts for current patrons who enrolled prior to August 2004:    10% of total tuition for 3 children, 25% of total tuition for 4 children.

Family discounts for patrons who enrolled after August 2004:  
10% of total tuition for 3 children and 15% of total tuition for 4 children or more.

Scholarship Information: A completed application, registration fee, and all other required information must be submitted by the April 1st Priority Deadline. Contact the administrative office at 662-323-7814 for scholarship information. Applications submitted after April 1st will be considered on a first-come, first served basis.
